Day 1: Whitewater 2010/11
2010-12-04 by Rebeckah Hornung ......................................................................................Last week it felt like it had been forever since skiing off the chair at Whitewater, today it felt like yesterday - just like seeing a great old friend - that stuff that gives you the warm and fuzzies.
I am not sure which part of my day was my favourite - the fresh powder off the groomers all morning, the long overdue dose of vitamin D or the familiar faces of snow-obsessed locals. Not to mention the renos on the lodge which have totally opened up the downstairs area. Back to the snow though...did I mention powder? Enough said.
Spectacular opening day, can't wait to get back there tomorrow!
