Whitewater's Powder Vortex

It has been dumping all week long and judging by the lack of crowds on a Saturday I would say most people's quads have given in to the relentless abuse over the past week. It ain't over yet either, the forecast is looking like more of the same over the coming Christmas holidays.

Sun, what sun? Who needs it anyways let the snow continue to fall.

With skiing this good inbounds who needs to venture beyond the ropes to find their own stash? The current considerable avy rating however is a good sign that it's time to brush up on your avalanche skills and no better place than at Whitewater. There's an up coming Avalanche Awareness Course on Dec 30th and an Avalanche Skills Training Course Jan 4th so check out the details and get prepared.
