......................................................................................Designed to provide a unique dining experience, the catering services at Whitewater offer entirely different fare from what you would get on the mountain. Our Head Chef Amanda Skidmore and Sous Chef Jeff Bruce put their fine dining training and experience together to craft a versatile menu which will accommodate any size or style of event. Amanda & Jeff understand that food plays the central role at any social event; it's what people look forward to and talk about. It's why our talented Chefs create meals which stand out and are truly memorable, from the stunning visual presentation right down to the last mouth watering bite.
If you're planning a big event; wedding, retirement party, family reunion, choose the buffet style catering experience with main course options like; braised short ribs with a chipotle cherry demi glace, or citrus almond crusted baked salmon with a ginger beurre blanc sauce. For smaller occasions, like a milestone birthday or anniversary, opt for a plated service with annatto spiced chicken breast with cinnamon braised yams. For lighter options, consider the incredible canapes menu available with tantalizing bites such as; Macedonian feta and herb stuffed prawns, roasted beef tenderloin with mustard caviar on a stilton crostini, or the deconstructed Ymir canape with curry roasted chicken and a yam puree with crispy chickpeas and cilantro creme fraiche. Our chefs will work with you on menu options and customizing a catering experience that would ensure the food at your event is as celebrated as it is delicious.
From May to November we are able to cater on location within 100kms of the city of Nelson. We also have catering opportunities during the winter months, we would love to be a part of your next Christmas party!
