Serving fresh, creative, wholesome meals that defy the expectations of typical cafeteria food, Fresh Tracks Cafe truly is a feather in the cap to a legendary skiing experience.
So many have asked - how did a locally loved, little known gem like Fresh Tracks become an internationally sought after dining destination? Well, with previous co-owner, Shelley Adams, at the helm of Fresh Tracks Cafe for over 10 years she set the course for a healthy and versatile menu that went above and beyond your average "cafeteria" food fare. Her dedication to creating a unique dining experience for hungry skiers and riders created a cult following which spawned three internationally best selling cookbooks. Then in 2008 Whitewater welcomed Head Chef Amanda Skidmore who took over the reins of the Fresh Tracks kitchen. Keeping in spirit with what Shelley created, Amanda has since developed many unique and flavourful creations which have quickly become dishes craved by locals and sought after by tourists.
As you enter the open concept eatery that is Fresh Tracks you will be excited to discover the vast and eclectic menu featuring dishes such as the Wildhorse Curry Bowl, Glory Wrap, and a Chai BBQ Pulled Pork Panini (and that's with a homemade Chai BBQ sauce, candied garlic and smoked cheddar!). After placing your order with one of the talented kitchen staff you will be treated to watching the various dishes being served up and recognize just how much love and attention from Amanda and her team goes into the quality of the food and the final presentation to the diners. You may in fact have to step back and double check that those affordable prices on the menu board match the incredible dishes coming out of the Fresh Tracks kitchen.
And for those who are vegan, celiac or have gluten sensitivities don't feel as though you will be left out of the good eats! Most of the menu items can be tailored to your specific dietary needs.
