Pueo Tinglin

Born in Hawai’i, Pueo moved to the Slocan Valley at age 3 and started snowboarding, first down the driveway and then shredding Whitewater's Little Mucker. Inspired by friends, family, and the deep local powder, snowboarding soon became his greatest passion. Whitewater’s exceptional terrain and the stoked hoots from the chairlift ignited Pueo's deep love of winter and motivated him to pursue backcountry education, avalanche safety, and first-aid. This winter, he's excited to be once again surfing the coldsmoke at our local ski hill. Pueo is thankful to be living and snowboarding on Sinixt territory. He also thanks his family and his community for supporting and encouraging him to pursue his passions.
