Ski/Board Ability Levels
......................................................................................Level 1 NEVER EVER
I have never Skied or Snowboarded before and I need someone to show me the right way to get started.
PROGRAM OF CHOICE: Discover Step One Level 2 BEGINNER
I have been out before, but only once or twice. I am still learning to control my speed, stop, and turn. I need just a little more time practicing in the beginner area to get comfortable before heading to the lifts.
PROGRAM OF CHOICE: Discover Step TwoLevel 3 NOVICE
I have been out a few times now, and I can comfortably turn and stop on a green run. I am starting to become more skilled and I am gaining confidence. I may be ready to venture onto a blue run.
PROGRAM OF CHOICE: Discover Step Three or Private LessonLevel 4 INTERMEDIATE
I am able to cruise comfortably on blue terrain but I want to do more. I want to start carving on the groomers and I am ready to start exploring off the groomed runs but I still want the security of the groomers nearby.
PROGRAM OF CHOICE: Private or Group LessonLevel 5 ADVANCED
I can handle black runs when the conditions are good. I enjoy going fairly fast, but struggle when it gets steep, bumpy, or the snow gets deep. I want to get down with style and I want to get into some of the legendary backside terrain at Whitewater!
PROGRAM OF CHOICE: The Powderroom / The Board Room
Level 6 EXPERT
I can go most places. Black runs are no problem, and double blacks are calling my name. I am searching for powder, bumps, and maybe even a little air. I love ripping the trees and laying out huge carve turns on the groomers. I would like to improve my technique so I can go hard all day and still have energy left for Apres.
PROGRAM OF CHOICE: The Powderhound Experience
........................................................................."Whitewater is one of the best small town resorts in Canada. The powder is incredible, the people are warm and friendly and the food is delectable.
