Learn To Ski Or Snowboard
At the Whitewater Mountain Learning Centre, we love to share our passion and knowledge of mountain culture. Our committed, professionally trained Snow School and Snow Safety instructors team together to offer a full range of programs designed to provide you with an exceptional Whitewater experience.
Discover Programs (ages 13 & up)
You say you've never skied or snowboarded before, but have always wanted to learn. These affordable and easy packages include everything you will need to learn a fun new sport in an enjoyable mountain atmosphere. Our programs are designed to teach beginners the fundamentals in a relaxed environment.
Step ONE
This level is for those who have NO previous experience skiing or snowboarding. Includes full area lift pass, equipment rental and 1.5 hour lesson.
Times: Daily at 10am or 1pm

Step TWO
This is the next step for beginners who would like to move up to level three. Includes full area lift pass, equipment rental and 1.5 hour lesson.
Times: Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and all throughout the Christmas holidays at 10am.

Step THREE
For those who are ready to explore the terrain accessed by the Silver King chair. Includes full area lift pass, equipment rental and 1.5 hour lesson.
Times: Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and all throughout the Christmas holidays at 1pm.

If you prebook all three steps in three consecutive classes the total cost is only $129 (no cancellations or refunds applicable).
Discover How to Cross-country Ski
Learn how to cross-country ski with efficiency and style. This package includes a full day trail pass, 1.5 hour lesson and equipment rental. Please register at the cross-country kiosk located at the trail head of the Nordic Center or at the Guest Services desk.

Magic Mondays (ages 13 and up)
Make your Mondays magic by signing up for this great deal. This adult oriented program is for all levels with the option to downhill ski, snowboard or cross-country ski. Work with a pro and take your skills to the next level. Included is a 2 hour group lesson topped off with lunch and optional tips for muscle relaxation and stretching.

*To substitute a cross-country trail pass for a lift pass, deduct $12.00 from the package price.

- Arrival by 9:00am will allow enough time to get ready for action. Stretching at 9:30am.

Private Lessons
At the Whitewater Mountian Learning Centre, it is all about you. We offer private lessons that will be tailored and customized to meet all of your needs and exceed all of your expectations. A private lesson is the fastest way to improvement. Mix and match terrain and focus throughout the day on the ultimate mountain learning experience. Focus on edging, linking turns better, carving, steeps, bumps, and powder. Request something specific that you wish to improve. Our professional instructors will take you around the mountain at your pace and assist you in reaching your personal goals. Options to have one-on-one lessons or semi-private lessons with your friends and / or family are available.
These lessons are a great value for all ages and abilities. Private instruction is fun and produces results fast! Private lessons are available for skiers, telemarkers and snowboarders alike with the instructor of your choice.

Adult Whitewater Season Pass holders receive a 50% discount on mid-week lessons and on weekends after 2pm. Subject to availability.
